Escort cards are one on my favorite personal touches in any wedding. You can get so creative with these to totally wow your guests by making them feel special. If you think about it, there isn’t any other place other than the invitations where you personally address your esteemed guests by name. And what better way to show your love and appreciation to them than with a hand-written, glittered, dye cut name card or other variation of it. Pictured above is a name card design I created for an editorial shoot. I hand cut terra-cotta Spanish-style tiles to fit with the venue which was mission inspired surrounded by hundreds of years of history. I then added sheets of glass personalized with hand-written calligraphy by Charley Paper Co. Lastly, each piece was given a preserved rose by Floral-Ly who presses and preserves brides bouquets.
Here I’ve gathered some of my favorite escort and place card designs.I am starting out with these Spanish inspired tiles personalized with guest names. I am a HUGE fan of Spanish colonial architecture so these are immediately my fave.
